Prior to DU: Spent his freshman season at College of Sequoias...played nine games on the defensive line...finished season with 20 tackles including 3.5 stops for loss and 2.5 sacks... made season-high four tackles and was in on a sack in season finale against Fresno (11/15)... had three tackles including a sack for a 13-yard loss against Feather River (9/13)...spent his sophomore season at Laney College in Oakland, California...competed in 11 games on the defensive line... closed campaign with 30 tackles and five sacks... made season-high six tackles with 1.5 sacks in a 35-6 win at College of Sequoias (10/22)... had two sacks in a 49-35 victory at City College of San Francisco (12/3)...as a junior, attended Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas...played in six games as a reserve on the defensive line... totaled 11 tackles including five solo tops, a tackle for loss and three pass breakups for the season... posted season-high five tackles in 38-17 win over No. 2 West Florida (9/8)... made three tackles including one for loss in 43-21 win at UT Permian Basin (9/15)... broke up passes against Humboldt State (9/1), Texas A&M-Kingsville (10/13) and Tarleton State (10/27).

High School: Prepped at Edison under head coach Matt Johnson...a three-year letter winner on the offensive and defensive line...helped EHS to a Valley Conference championship...named the team's Most Outstanding Lineman...member of the All-Conference team for three years...team went 10-2 as a senior and was ranked top 10 in the state in their division.
