Eric Bottrall enters another year as an assistant for the Panthers and lead coach for the men's JV team after joining the program in 2018-19 season. Bottrall has coached at the prep level in West Michigan for nearly two decades at Byron Center, Caledonia, and Wayland. Bottrall works in children’s food services at Kentwood schools and attended Grand Rapids Community College after graduating from Wayland in 1997. 

He has won statewide coach of the year accolades twice and his overall dual match record over 18 seasons is 151-37-1, for an 80% winning percentage.
