Jeremy Barber

Jeremy Barber got the call to become the head coach of the ACHA Division I men's hockey program in July 2021. Barber is no stranger to Davenport University as he played for the Panthers and was named a First Team All-American selection at the ACHA Division II level during the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons. He also was named as an Academic All-American during those same two seasons. Barber served as team captain under current director of intercollegiate athletics Paul Lowden and also was named to the ACHA Division II Select USA Hockey team in January 2010.

Barber graduated with high honors from Davenport University with a bachelor's and master's degree in business administration and has gone on to a very successful professional career. He is a board member for the Davenport Athletic Leadership Board and has been involved with numerous charitable organizations including Boys and Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House, and Habitat for Humanity. He brings a wealth of leadership experience to the program and currently is a Vice President Banker for J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Grand Rapids.
