Prior to DU: Started off his junior hockey with the Butte Cobras (NA3HL) in 2020-21, but played just one game due to COVID-19...moved on to the Atlanta Capitals (NA3HL) in 2021-22 and played in 30 games with seven wins and a 88.5 save percentage...attended the University of Providence (ACHA D2) for two seasons in 2023-24 and 2024-25...saw action in 28 games with 17 wins...had a 2.65 goals-against average in 2023-24 and 3.13 goals-against average in 2024-25...his team was the West Regional champs in ACHA D2 in 2023-24 and advanced to the nationals...member of the President's List all four semesters.

High School: Attended TEC Connections Academy, but played his hockey for Dighton-Rehoboth Seekonk...coached by Tom Fecteau...had a record of 10-4-1 with a goals-against average of 1.73 and a save percentage of 94.1...named a South Coast Conference All-Star...also selected as a Sun Chronicle All-Star...won the Division 2 states in Massachusetts in 2019-20...also played for the 95 Giants 18U AAA in 2018-19 and 2019-20...member of the National Honor Society.
