High School: Played at Forest Brighton...2017-18 he recorded 15 points in 25 games and led the team in hits...Won MHSAA Division 1 State Championship.

DU Highlights: One of the many hard-working freshman in 2018-19, Newton scored four goals and an assist for five points in his rookie season.
