Biography
DU Highlights: In his freshman season in 2019-20, Sandberg led all rookies in scoring and finished tied for fourth on the team in points (31), scoring 14 goals and 17 assists in 31 games...during the 2020-21 season, played in nine games and had four goals and six assists before COVID-19 shutdown...played in 26 contests during the 2021-22 season and had 13 goals and five assists...scored three times on the power play...led the team with 37 points during the 2022-23 campaign...totaled 12 goals and 25 assists...had two goals and two assists for a season-high four points against GVSU (D3) on Dec. 17.
Prior to DU: Played for the Toledo Cherokee of the USPHL Premier in 2017-19...appeared in a combined 90 games.
High School: Attended Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana...scored 20 goals in 15 games.
Personal: Majoring in Legal Studies...son of Amy and Brian Sandberg...born March 29th...favorite movie is Inception.
