Juniors: During the 2018-19 season, Hofstetter played for the Motor City Hawks of the United States Premier Hockey League, where he scored a goal and seven assists in 27 games. Before that, he spent parts of the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons with the Seaforth Generals of the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League (CPJHL).
