Mark begins his fourth year on the D3 Hockey bench as assistant coach. Currently Mark is an account executive at Gilson Graphics here in Grand Rapids. VanVliet, who graduated from Calvin College, has over 10 years of experience coaching high school teams as he has spent time at Grand Rapids Christian, Union and South Christian.

Mark is married to Faith and together they have four children (Jillian, Jenna, Mary Grace and Teddy.
