Thabu Eloff returns for another season as Davenport's assistant men's rugby coach.

Before joining the Panthers staff, Eloff played for the Midwest Thunderbirds and was captain when they won the 2006 LAU tournament in Florida. He was selected for the USA Eagles in 2000 and played for the national side in 36 test matches. Eloff also played in three Rugby World Cups (2003 in Australia, 2005 7's in Hong Kong and then in the 2007 in France).

Eloff was also part of the first annual Collegiate 7’s Rugby Competition in Columbus Ohio in 2010, where he was part of the Notre Dame 7’s coaching staff. He got invited back to help Notre Dame 7’s program again at the 2011 Collegiate 7’s Rugby Competition (CRC) in Philadelphia. He got selected to be an assistant coach for the High School All-Americans 7’s program in July of 2011 that toured to Canada.

Eloff is joined by his brother JP on the Davenport Program. He currrently resides in Chicago, Ill.
