Kevin Butterfield has been a key component for the men's soccer success working with the goalkeepers since the fall of 2015. He mentored former four-year standout Aaron Orban and assisted him in becoming the school's all-time leader in saves, goals against average and wins.
Butterfield attended Hope College from 2002-05 and finished his career with 20 shutouts for the Flying Dutchmen. He also was named All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team during the 2005 season and Second Team All-MIAAÂ in 2004.Â
Born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio, Kevin now resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife and four kids. Having a passion for training goalkeepers, Kevin has been working with players of all ability levels and ages, from seven years old to the collegiate level, since 2003.
