Darrin begins his third year helping out with Davenport's track and field programs after a very successful career at Northwood University. Tape is a 2008 graduate of Northwood where he earned a degree in marketing management.
During his time on the track team at NU, Darrin qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships on four different occasions and earned the GLIAC running MVP in 2007-08. Upon graduation, Tape helped out at Thornapple Kellogg Middleville High School where he worked with the sprints and jumps and had one athlete qualify for the state meet. Tape lives in Middleville.
