Jeremy Weir

Weir enters his tenth year as the full-time associate head coach for Davenport’s track & field teams. Here he oversees all the jumps, hurdles and multi-events (including program writing, strength and conditioning, academics, and recruiting). The athletes he oversees currently hold 27 of the 28 indoor and outdoor school records at DU. He has successfully guided his group of student-athletes to a combined GPA of 3.2 or better every year with many making the Dean's and President's List along with 31 USTFCCCA All Academics.

Weir also brings four and a half years of coaching experience to DU from Illinois Wesleyan University. He was the assistant coach for the pole vault, high jump, hurdles, and multi-events in his stint with the Titans as well as being in charge of the strength and conditioning program for those events.

Weir is an ISSA certified strength and conditioning coach and holds a USATF Level 1, Level 2 Jumps, and Level 2 Sports Science Certifications. Weir’s background is in sports and health sciences from American Public University and dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and he's originally from Princeton, Wis.
