Juan Villarreal is in his fifth year as an assistant coach for both Davenport’s cross country and track & field teams.
Villarreal brings to Davenport eight years of experience coaching at the high school level, with six being coached at West Catholic High and West Ottawa High. He served as an assistant coach at West Catholic High before taking on the head-coaching role for West Ottawa’s girls track team.
Villarreal, who graduated from Grand Valley State in 2004, currently resides in Bryon Center with his wife Pamela, who is also an assistant coach for Davenport’s track and field team.
