High School: Prepped at Wayland Union (Mich.) and competed for coaches Martin Howard, Josh Banner, Tim Gibson, Chris Jasinski, and Paul Ingles...set the school record in the 100 meters (11.47) and 200 meters (24.06) as a senior...won the Japinga Award for the top male athlete at Wayland...was a three-time, all-state qualifier...named all-conference three times and all-county as a senior.

Personal: Majoring in occupational therapy...born on December 27...favorite sports team is the Detroit Lions.
