Bay College: Took home Second Team NJCAA All-American honors after a sensational freshman season for the Norse in 2024-25 ... Axtell averaged 20.2 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and 2.9 steals per game, while helping lead the team to a 20-10 record and a berth in the Great Lakes District B playoff semifinals ... was named the Michigan Community College Athletic Association's Northern Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year ... also named to the Region XII, Division II All-Region Team ... Axtell was one of seven players from Michigan, and the only one from the Upper Peninsula, to receive All-American accolades.

High School: Attended Menominee (Mich.) and was a three-time All-U.P. and three-time All-Great Northern Conference performer ... in addition, she garnered Division 3 All-State accolades ... named the GNC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior ... became just the fifth female in Menominee history to score 1,000 points in her career ... the school record holder for most points (520) and steals (94) in a single season.
