The 2019-20 season marks Bryan Applin's third on the sidelines at Davenport University. Applin joined the women's basketball coaching staff with coach Albro and has served as the lead assistant coach ever since. Applin, a native of Monroe, Michigan, graduated from Western Michigan University and was the video coordinator at WMU for the 2013-14 season and assistant director of basketball operations for the 2014-15 season. He then served as the graduate assistant for the University of Michigan women's basketball team for two years with responsibilities in recruiting, player development, video and scouting.
