Wandel is in her sixth season as an Assistant Coach for the Lady Panthers. She brings experience to recruiting, post player development, rebounding and defensive components of the program. In addition to coaching, Kelly works for Davenport University as an Admissions Representative.
Since joining the coaching staff, Wandel has helped the Lady Panthers to five Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season championships and a national runner-up finish during the 2010-11 season.
The former Kelly Erskine is a 2004 graduate of NCAA Division II, Grand Valley State University. There she played four years of basketball and received her bachelor's in Biomedical Science. Kelly is a Saginaw, MI native and graduated from Swan Valley High School in 2000. She was a four year letter winner in basketball and volleyball and one year in track and softball.
Kelly resides in Zeeland with her Husband Bob Wandel, a Teacher and Coach at Hamilton Community High School and daughter Ellie.
