Meredith Shipman is back for her second season with the women's basketball program. She joined the coaching staff at Davenport University after a successful career as a student-athlete at Western Michigan University. Shipman, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was a four-year letter winner with the Broncos women's basketball team and in WMU history, finished fourth in career 3-pointers made (177), 11th in career assists (285) and 13th in career steals (159). She also finished her career tied for the third highest free-throw percentage (81.4) and ninth highest 3-point field goal percentage (34.8). Shipman also holds WMU single-game record for most 3-pointers made in a game (9, at Toledo, 1/9/16). She was named Third Team All-MAC, MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete and Academic All-MAC as a senior in 2016-17.
