Shannon Rose

Shannon Rose (Callaghan) enters her sixth year as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team. Shannon will help with recruiting for the Panthers who have become one of the elite teams in the NAIA DII ranks. 

Since becoming the assistant coach in 2007-08, Shannon has helped the team to five consecutive WHAC regular season championships, three tournament titles and a National Runner-up finish in 2010-11.

As a student-athlete from 2003-2007, Shannon helped lead her team to the school's first ever WHAC Championship and made it to National Tournament each year she was in school. Along with playing for Davenport, Shannon graduated in April of 2007 with a Bachelor's in Business Management. Callaghan is a Bay City, MI native and graduated from John Glenn High School in 2003 where she played basketball and ran track.

Shannon and her husband Russ live in Grand Rapids, MI.
