Annah Smiddy joined the coaching staff in the 2021-22 season and assists with all facets of the program that competes at the ACHA Division I level. Smiddy is a native of North Muskegon, Michigan and was a goaltender for Belle Tire 16U and 19UAAA for a period of three seasons before moving on to Finlandia University (NCAA D3) in the Upper Peninsula town of Hancock, Michigan. Smiddy played in 65 games for the Lions with a season-best GAA of 4.16 and a .909 save percentage during her sophomore season in 2017-18. She is currently employed with Under Par Golf in Muskegon as the general manager.
