Davenport University Athletics

As an assistant coach, Christine Steffes finished her first year on the Panthers' coaching sideline after the 2024 season.

Steffes concluded her playing career at Davenport in 2023. The Farmington, Minn. native played in 62 career games and finished with 11 goals, two assists, 124 ground balls and 61 caused turnovers. She ranks eighth all-time at Davenport in caused turnovers.

Steffes was named First Team All-GLIAC in 2023 and was also named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team and the IWLCA DII Academic Honor Roll list. In the 2022 season, she was also named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC and made the GLIAC All-Tournament team. For consecutive seasons, Steffes was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team (2021-22). During the 2020 season, she received the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week award on March 2nd.

Her previous coaching experience includes coaching for the Minnesota Elite Lacrosse Club, Farmington (MN) youth lacrosse and basketball teams, and Forest Hills Central (MI) youth lacrosse.
