Darcy finished her second season on the women's lacrosse coaching staff in 2021.
She played two years at Kutztown University and redshirted one year at Mercy College in New York. During her time at Kutztown, Shannon recorded 31 groundballs and caused 28 turnovers. Her career high for a single game in groundballs and caused turnovers was four. She scooped up four groundballs at Slippery Rock on March 23, 2019 and then caused four turnovers vs. Lock Haven on April 13, 2019. Over her three years in college, she landed on the Dean's List three times and was a scholar-athlete in 2018-19.
