Chris Taborn enters his third season as an assistant coach under Paige Eli in the fall of 2022 and will coach the goalkeepers. Taborn came to Davenport after two seasons as a men's assistant at his alma mater, Olivet Nazarene, of the NAIA. The former Tiger student-athlete is the founder of the Tiger Goalkeeping Institute in Chicagoland and West Michigan. He is also the Director of Goalkeeping at SCOR-Meulensteen.Â
As a goalkeeper for the Tigers, Taborn was the most decorated player at that position in school history. For ONU, Taborn was a two-time All-CCAC performer while leading the Tigers to a pair of CCAC Regular Season Championships, two CCAC Tournament Championships and three NAIA National Tournament appearances.
Taborn also holds a USSFÂ D License as well as USC Level 1 and 2 Goalkeeper Diplomas.
