Jason Kolean was hired as the Head Athletic Trainer at Davenport University in July of 2015. His sport assignments include Women's Volleyball and STUNT/Cheer. He was given a new title of Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine in May of 2020.
A native of Hudsonville, Michigan, Jason received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Grand Valley State University in 2009, and went on to complete a Master’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from Western Michigan University in 2011. Upon completion of his Master’s degree, Jason accepted a position as Head Athletic Trainer at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana and spent four years with the Belles. Jason currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Allie, daughter Audrey and son Bradley.
