Lewis (Lewie) DeGeneault begins his third season as the associate head coach of the tennis programs at Davenport University. DeGeneault has worked at the Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness Club since May 2018. He is a high performance tennis coach that specializes in junior development. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, he entered the state of Michigan by accepting a tennis scholarship from Ferris State University. Lewie was named First Team All-Conference in multiple years and majored in business and marketing and earned a degree in Professional Tennis Management.
Lewie played on the professional tennis circuit after graduation around the world. He is married to his wife, Kendall, and they have a daughter, Vivian.
