Claire Breault joined the staff in August 2026 after previously competing for the Panthers. Breault finished her playing career at Davenport during the 2024 and 2025 seasons as a forward. The native of Troy, Michigan and a graduate of Waterford Mott, she was named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team as a senior and appeared in 18 matches with nine starts. She logged 760 minutes and scored her lone goal against Northern Michigan on Oct. 19. She played in 20 matches and started 18 times as a junior. Breault saw 1,319 minutes of action and scored a goal on four shot attempts against Saginaw Valley State on Oct. 11.
Breault began her collegiate career at Grand Valley State and was a three-year member of the Lakers. After a redshirt season in 2021, Claire appeared in 19 matches in 2022 with three starts. She was a part of the 2022 GLIAC regular season and tournament championship team and played 39 minutes in the NCAA regionals. In 2023, Breault made five starts and played in 24 matches for the Lakers. She recorded her first goal (game-winner) in a 2-1 victory over Davenport on Oct. 6. She also played 64 minutes in the NCAA quarterfinals versus Washburn.
Claire is currently an assistant manager with Vector Marketing and has been with the organization since June 2025. She earned her bachelor's of science in biological and biomedical sciences at Grand Valley State and is expected to complete her master's degree at Davenport in health care administration/management in February 2027.
