Davenport University Athletics

Mackenzie (Davenport) LaCluyse joined the Davenport Athletic Training staff in September 2022 and serves as the
athletic trainer for football, track and field, and powerlifting.
 

Mackenzie obtained her master’s degree in Applied Sports Psychology from Adams State University in July 2024. Prior to working at Davenport, Mackenzie spent 2021-2022 working for Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center covering area high schools near Salida, Colorado. Before moving to Colorado, Mackenzie served as an Athletic Training Fellow at Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana from 2019-2021 teaching and performing athletic training duties for their athletic program. Mackenzie graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University in 2019. Prior to graduation, Mackenzie completed an internship with Davenport University with the baseball and football teams.

Mackenzie is a native of Mishawaka, Indiana and currently resides in Kentwood, Michigan with her husband, Aaron.
