Alli Veneklase was able to repeat as Davenport Female Athlete of the Week after she was able to win the WHAC Championship in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:18.78 to best the rest of the field.
 
In the 800 meter race, Veneklase was also able to set the NAIA ‘A’ standard, as she was the only female participant from the Davenport women’s track and field team to win a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship.
 
Veneklase will head to Geneva, Ohio for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships starting on March 5th.
