Georgetown University (KY) traditionally boasts one of the elite programs in the country and they fulfilled that distinction this weekend as they cruised to the Julie Martin Memorial Tournament title at Madonna University. Along the way, Georgetown overpowered Davenport in three games (30-18, 30-22, 34-32). The Panthers held tough but were unable to budge a game out of their competitor. With the loss, DU's record drops to 4-9.
