The women's volleyball team was coming off its most impressive win in program history after defeating undefeated Indiana Tech on Tuesday night, but the bad news was that they had to play national powerhouse Madonna University on Thursday night. DU got off to a strong start against the Crusaders but could not hold down the Madonna attack as they cruised to a 3-0 (30-19, 30-20, 30-19) victory. The loss drops DU's record to 7-16 on the year and 2-3 in WHAC play. They will return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Ann Arbor to take on Concordia University.
