University Center, Mich. - The Panthers men's soccer team traveled across the state for a rare mid-season non-conference game today and came back with a 5-1 loss. The defeat comes just three days before they return to WHAC action against Concordia University.

DU has been an up and down team over the past few weeks as they cannot seem to put two quality games together. After defeating Siena Heights this past Saturday, DU came in to today's match looking to extend their confidence against an NCAA D2 team but came away with a 5-1 loss.

The lone goal for the Panthers was scored by freshman Rory Scott but it came after the Cardinals put up five on the board on DU.

The loss drops DU to 6-5 on the year and they remain 2-3 in WHAC play. They travel to Ann Arbor on Saturday to take on Concordia University who is coming off their first win in 4 years.
