GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Friday, October 22, the Davenport D1 Ice Hockey team will host its annual homecoming game at Patterson Ice Center.  DU will take on U-M Dearborn in a game that will feature a banner raising and National Championship ring ceremony before hand.

Join fellow students, alumni, faculty and staff as we cheer on our back-to-back-to-back National Championship Panthers as they face off against the UM-Dearborn. The night will start with a tailgate featuring food sponsored by Brann's Steakhouse.

At aproximately 7:15pm, the attention will turn to the ice where the 2009-2010 ACHA D2 National Championship hockey team will be honored with a banner raising ceremony as well as the championsip rings being handed out to each player from President Richard Pappas.

Full Schedule of Events

Davenport is currently 8-2 on the year as they play their first home game in over a month. The last time DU played at Patterson was on September 18 when they defeated Central Michigan 10-0.  DU has posted wins over #1 Lindenwood, #3 Ohio, #5 Iowa State and #10 Liberty in their first year of ACHA D1 competition.
