WHAC Tournament Bracket | DU Season Stats
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's soccer team opens up the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Tournament on Saturday, November 6 as they will be the #2 seed and host the #7 seed Concordia University at 7:00pm. DU brings an overall record of 12-6 into the game while the Cardinals are 3-12-1.
Head coach Carl Whitehouse and his Panthers are fresh off their first regular season WHAC championship in school history and will look to advance to their first National Tournament in the three round conference battle that will go from November 6-13.
Aquinas College is the top seed in the 7-team tournament and will have a bye to the semifinals that are scheduled for next Tuesday at 2:00pm. The Saints will host the winner of the #4 Madonna/#5 Siena Heights game in that semifinal. Davenport will host Concordia University on Saturday at 7:00pm while the 3rd seed Cornerstone University will host #6 Indiana Tech with the winners meeting also on Tuesday the 9th.
Davenport and Concordia met one time this season in Ann Arbor with the Panthers posting a 3-0 victory. Scoring in that game for DU were Carl Winterbottom, Stuart Collins and Rico Mulero.
