ELKHART, Ind. - Davenport's D1 rugby team enters the conference tournament this Saturday as the #2 overall seed as they will take on #3 seed Indiana in the four-team battle.  The Panthers are 6-1 and defeated the Hoosiers earlier this year 37-20.

In just their second year of competition and first in D-1, the Panthers top squad prepares for the end of season conference tournament to be played this weekend in Elkhart, IN at the Moose Rugby Grounds. 

Davenport (6-1) will take on Indiana (4-2) for a berth in the conference championship game on Sunday against Bowling Green or Miami (OH).  The two winners from the semifinal games will automatically qualify for the National Tournament that is held in the spring of 2011.
