LAKE ODESSA, Mich. - After Central Michigan dropped out early Saturday morning, the GR Collegiate Cup became a one game affair as the Panthers concluded their inaugural season with a 35-12 win over Western Michigan. 

Ty Avnit (South Africa), Erin Hillary (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Fray Hatfield (Mishawaka, Ind.) all collected tries in the opening half as DU built a 25-7 at the break.

The second half was much more of a defensive struggle as DU was able to get many player experience on the field.

Davenport ends their inaugural season at 12-3 overall while finishing 1-1 in tournament play (shortened games)
