GOSHEN, Ind. – The Davenport women's volleyball team earned their 10th win of the season tonight after defeating Goshen College (5-8) in three straight sets 25-15, 25-22, 25-22.  The team is now 10-7 overall and plays two matches tomorrow at Huntington University.

Right from the start of the match, Davenport put up a very strong defensive front at the net.  Behind strong serving from Lexie Spetoskey and blocking by Kelse Moon and Hannah Stone, the Panthers started set one up 7-0.  They continued to pull ahead down the stretch and led by as many as 11 points before closing it out 25-15.

In set two Davenport really started to roll offensively hitting .371, but the Maple Leafs kept things close.  Despite falling short in that set, Goshen took the momentum right from the beginning of the third set.  Goshen led 9-4 before Davenport started to claw their way back, but did not tie things up until 20-20. The Panthers finally took the lead at 21-20 on a Kassie Graves kill.  Graves led the balanced attack with 9 kills.  Davenport finished the match off the way the started with two more blocks from Stone and Moon.

Defensively Stone tallied 6 total blocks, while Ashley Hines tallied 17 digs from the libero position.
