Post-Game Quotes – Head Coach Phil Sweeney

Thoughts on game – “It's disappointing to lose to a big rival especially in a shootout. We let a golden opportunity get away from us tonight by not having our best performance. We didn't play 60 full minutes of hockey. I think if we would have we would have ended up winning that game. But that's how it is and if you don't play a full game it will come back and bite you in the end.”

It was an emotional game tonight, how does the team regroup and prepare for the game against Western tomorrow – “I'm kind of happy we play right away. It's been a real emotional couple of weeks with the Liberty weekend, Adrian, and now Oakland, all tough rivals and emotional games. And after a loss like this, sometimes you can sit and sulk about it but this way we can get right back on the ice against a team that we had success against earlier this year. They did pick up a few guys so they will be a lot better but I'm glad we get to get right back here and back on the ice tomorrow afternoon.”
