Post-Game Quotes - Head Coach
Burt Paddock and Lonnie Fairfax
Fairfax on: getting a bounce back win and
- “
It means a lot to win, helps us get our confidence back up and get us ready to play a Lourdes team that is hot right now.”
Fairfax on hitting 2 triples tonight
-“It all comes from my teammates, I hit them in practice all the time and my teammates put the confidence in me to take them in the games.”
Paddock on a quality win -
“We showed some nerves in not playing well against Indiana Tech and then starting slow versus Siena Heights so honestly I wasn't sure what to expect. However we worked the guys hard the past couple days and I shouldn't be surprised because these guys are resilient and always find a way.”
Paddock on the play of
Lonnie Fairfax -
“Lonnie is unbelievable and it is a shame we won't have him next year. There isn't another guy in the conference I would rather have leading my team.”
Paddock on upcoming game vs. Lourdes on Saturday - “
They are really tough, have lost some guys but that has made them better. They had won 6 straight and they mirror us with their athleticism and want to get up and down the floor. So we are going to have to prepare and understand our defensive plan so we can take advantage of the friendly confines of the DU Student Center.”
