Scouting Indiana Tech – 21-8, 14-7 WHAC – Head coach Al Grushkin (3rd season)

The Warriors come into Saturday afternoon's showdown receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll as they are 21-8 overall and 14-7 in league play. Third year head coach Al Grushkin, who has his team on the verge of yet another trip to the national tournament, will lead his team into battle after suffering an 80-77 setback at Cornerstone on Wednesday evening in Grand Rapids. Melvin Brooks leads the team in scoring at just over 14 points per game and Brooks is also the team leader in rebounds and blocks. The calling card for Grushkin and his Warriors has always been on the defensive end however and 2012-13 is no different as they are ranked inside the Top-10 nationally in 3-point FG% Defense (No. 1 - .281), Scoring Defense (No. 6 - 56.5) and FG% Defense (No. 9 - .397).

Davenport enters the contest as the top team in the conference after picking up a 68-56 home win over Concordia to put them at 17-4 in league play. The Panthers have been led by the 1-2 offensive punch of Dominez Burnett and JaVontae Ford while six other players are averaging at least five points per game. DU also excels on the defensive end of the court as they rank in the NAIA Top-10 in six difference defensive categories.
