Scouting Madonna – 24-8 (17-5 WHAC) – Head coach Noel Emenhiser (4th season)

Madonna enters the tournament title game with a chance at improving on an already record setting year under fourth year head coach Noel Emenhiser The Crusaders, who own a school record 24 wins entering the game, have been led all season by the back-court duo of Bobby Naubert (WHAC Player of the Year) and Travis Schuba (1st Team All-WHAC). The juniors combine to average 34.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and have posted 254 assists and 87 steals on the year. Madonna defeated the Panthers twice in the regular season (82-69 in Grand Rapids and 74-64 in Livonia) and will look to become the first team since 2006-07 to defeat the Panthers three times in a single season.

Davenport is looking at claiming its second straight WHAC Tournament championship as they won last year 52-42 over Lourdes. The Panthers have been led by Dominez Burnett (14.3) and JaVontae Ford (13.7) all season on the offensive end but their defense has led them to where they are as they currently rank in the Top-10 nationally in six different defensive categories.
