GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's soccer team continues their tough early season schedule and this week features a pair of matches well away from the friendly confines of the DU Turf Field. The Panthers (4-1-0) will head to Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) on Thursday for a matchup with the No. 6 Blue Raiders and then conclude their week with a 3 p.m. kick on Saturday at Bethel College (Ind.). Lindsey Wilson will have live video and stats while there will also be live stats available for the Bethel match.

Scouting #6 Lindsey Wilson – 2-1-1, 0-0-0 Mid-South– Head coach Ray Wells (24th season)
For the second straight week, the Panthers will take on one of the elite programs in the NAIA as they head south to face Lindsey Wilson who comes into the match ranked No. 6 in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll. The Blue Raiders, under 24th year head coach Ray Wells, have won nine national titles and all have come since 1995 including their latest in 2011. Lindsey (2-1-1) on the season, is led by a pair of goals from each Bastien Montagnon and Lwandiso Gonya. Seven different players have recorded goals while Yuta Nomura has played all but 71 minutes in net and have a GAA of 1.16.
Scouting Bethel College – 1-5-0, 0-0-0 Crossroads League – Head coach Thiago Pinto (5th season)
Davenport will face a Crossroads League opponent for the third straight week and it will come on the road once again as they head to Mishawaka to face the Pilots of Bethel College. Fifth year head coach Thiago Pinto and the Pilots are currently 1-5 but have played a very difficult schedule that includes losses to No. 8 Southern Polytechnic, No. 13 Hastings and fellow WHAC school Aquinas College. Ricardo Zambonino leads the way on offense as the freshman has tallied four goals on the year.
