Box Score ANN ARBOR, Mich. - In a rare Friday night conference match, the Davenport Volleyball team rolled to a win at Concordia University 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-21). The victory lifts head coach
Megan Lenhart and her team to 15-6 overall and 4-0 in league action. They will resume play on Wednesday when they welcome Northwestern Ohio to the Student Center.
The Lady Panthers had a strong start at Concordia tonight and came away with their fourth WHAC win defeating the Cardinals 25-11, 25-16, 25-21. In the opening set Davenport hit .357 and held Concordia to just seven kills.
DU'/s strong offense continued in set two. They were led by eight kills from Olivia DenHartgh who finished the night with 17 total.
In set three, Concordia made a strong run toward the end but the Panthers finished off the match 25-21.
Nicole Chase also had a solid evening with 9 kills and just one error.
Hannah Stone and
Marcey DeHaan each contributed 8 kills.
Amber getty dished out 35 assists and Sidney rodriguez tallied 20 digs in the victory which was the fourth straight in conference play by a 3-0 sweep.
Davenport moves to 15-6 overall and remains undefeated in whac play. They will face another undefeated opponent next Wednesday as they host UNOH.
