The Week Ahead
Round two of WHAC play will continue for DU Wednesday with a home contest against cross-town rival Aquinas College. Davenport will then travel to Aquinas Saturday to play two WHAC matches against Concordia and Indiana Tech on a neutral floor. In previous match-ups this year with Aquinas, Indiana Tech and Concordia DU was a perfect 9-0 in sets won.

Another Jump in the Polls
After a 4-1 week with victories over No. 23 Ashford and No. RV St. Thomas Davenport jumped two spots to No. 13 in the NAIA Top 25 poll released Tuesday. This is another program high for the 19-5 Panthers.

Last Home Game for Two Weeks
Wednesday's match against Aquinas at the DU Student Center will be their last home game for two weeks. DU will return home on Oct. 29th against Cornerstone before finishing WHAC play with three straight home matches in November.

Record Week for Stone
Hannah Stone etched her name in the DU records books on Friday in the match against No. 7 Viterbo. Stone's nine block assists moved her into first place all-time for total career blocks (450) and block-assists (393) surpassing Nicole Chase in both categories. Four more solo blocks will give the senior the career record in that category as well.

Panther Invitational
Davenport hosted its annual Panther Invitational with 12 teams from all over the country last weekend. DU finished 3-1 with its lone loss coming to eventual tournament champion No. 7 Viterbo 3-0. Marcey DeHaan and Hannah Stone represented DU on the all-tournament team.

A Season of Win Streaks
Davenport saw an eight game win streak end last Friday. The Panthers have won seven straight WHAC matches and will look to extend that number to ten after three conference matches this week.
