GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Volleyball made the biggest jump of any school moving up ten spots in the NAIA Top 25 poll. The No. 15 ranking is highest in program history as DU is set to play five matches on the week including starting the second round of WHAC play Wednesday at Siena Heights. Heading into the weekend DU will host their annual Panther Invitational facing off against No. 23 Ashford, No. 7 Viterbo, Olivet Nazarene and No. RV St. Thomas.

Panther Invitational
DU will host its annual Panther Invitational starting Friday with twelve teams traveling to Grand Rapids, Mich. from all over the U.S.. Six of the twelve teams are currently ranked in the NAIA Top 25 or receiving votes and of all teams competing they comprise a 163-86 overall record.
 
A Season of Win Streaks 
Davenport has won their last six matches and fourteen of their last fifteen. With five matches this week they will look to surpass their season high of eight straight previously set this year.
 
History Against Siena Heights
Davenport defeated the Saints back on Sept. 3rd 3-1 at the DU Student Center. They are 12-2 all-time against Siena Heights and 5-1 when playing in Adrian, Mich.
 
Marcey DeHaan - WHAC Player of the Week
DeHaan is the second Panther this season to earn the weekly honor after posting 44 kills, seven digs, six blocks and compiling a .536 hitting percentage last week.
 
National Statistical Rankings
Three different players rank inside the Top-50 in individual rankings as Amber Getty is No. 14 in Assists/Game (10.51) and No. 37 in Total Assists (683) while Hannah Stone is No. 16 in Hitting Percentage (.345) and No. 39 in kills per game (3.34). Marcey DeHaan is new to the list this week and is No. 50 in hitting percentage (.299).
 
How the Team Stacks Up
DU has three national statistical rankings as a team as they are No. 14 in Hitting Percentage (.244), No. 14 in Assists per Game (12.35) and No. 21 in Kills per Game (13.08).
