The Flames enter the weekend with a 14-4-0-4 record on the season, and are coming off of a weekend split with Stony Brook. Both games took place at the LaHaye Ice Center and Liberty lost the first game 3-1, but followed up with an 8-4 win. Freshman Luke Hannon leads the way from the team with 24 goals and a total of 47 points on the season. Hannon leads the ACHA in points with 47 and is they only player in the country with 40 points or more. The Flames have had four goaltenders appear in at least three games so far this season.

Scouting Western Michigan

The Stallions are 12-5-1-2 on the year and are coming into the weekend after splitting a weekend series last weekend against Michigan-Dearborn. Michael Moroso leads Western Michigan in scoring 14 goals and 17 assists for season total of 31 points. In goal, Brandon Haase has played the majority of the minutes for Western Michigan playing a total of 863:30 to start the season. Haase has put together a goals against average of 2.99 to go along with a .918 save percentage.

GLCHL Outlook

Adrian still leads the pack in the GLCHL with a total of 33 points on the season, but Western Michigan is staying in striking distance with 27 points on the year. Michigan-Dearborn, Oakland, Kent State and Davenport are neck in neck with one another as they are separated by just three points. Eastern Michigan rounds out the GLCHL with eight points through 15 games this season.

ACHA Rankings

Both opponents the Panthers will be facing this weekend are currently ranked in the top 25 in the ACHA as Liberty sits at ten and Western Michigan is 22nd in the country. Davenport moved to 15th in the ACHA last week, but may fall a couple spots after going 1-2 last weekend. Central Oklahoma and Arizona State are still holding on to the top two spots in the national rankings, while Adrian and Lindenwood continue to flip flop between third and fourth in the nation. Stony Brook jumped up one spot last week to round out the top five.
