GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport D1 hockey team will be back in action with another three game weekend. After the Panthers concluded their toughest stretch of the season playing seven games in 13 days Davenport had a few days off for the Thanksgiving break. Davenport will get back into action with another tough stretch as they play three games in the three days this weekend. The weekend will begin on Friday on the road at Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti, Mich., at 7:30 p.m.

Scouting Eastern MichiganÂ
The Eagles come into the weekend with a 4-13-0-0 record and are in seventh place in the GLCHL. Last time out for Eastern Michigan, they traveled to Saginaw, Mich., to face ACHA D3 squad Saginaw Valley State, where the Eagles lost 6-3. The leading scorer for Eastern Michigan is Bryan Kozlowski with 14 points and a total of 19 points. Ryan Faucheux is the leading goal scorer for the Eagles with eight goals this season. Head coach Kevin Gee has had four different goalies appear in at least four games this season.

Scouting AdrianÂ
Adrian enters the week ranked fourth in the ACHA and is 17-1-1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs moved up one spot last week after being ranked fifth. The last time the Bulldogs were in action was November 25th against Davenport in Adrian. The Panthers were able to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Bulldogs prevailed in a shootout. Leading the way for Adrian is freshman Brad Kobryn with 26 goals and 39 points. Freshman Austyn Roudebush has led the goaltending core for Adrian with a goals against average of 1.98 and .933 save percentage.

GLCHL OutlookÂ
Adrian still leads the charge in the GLCHL with 35 points and Western Michigan is still in second place in the conference with 27 points. Davenports has jumped into a tie for third place with Michigan-Dearborn as they both have 23 points on the season. Kent State is just behind in fifth place with 21 points and Oakland is lurking in sixth place at 21 points. Eastern Michigan rounds out the GLCHL with eight points on season.

ACHA RankingsÂ
After beating Liberty and Western Michigan two weeks ago, Davenport moved up one spot 16th in the ACHA. Arizona State and Central Oklahoma still hang onto the top two spots in the rankings, both with just two losses on the year. Stony Brook slipped from third to fifth, which moved up Adrian to fourth and Ohio to third. No new teams enter the rankings this, as Oakland was able to move up from 25 to 23.
