GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The eight-ranked men's rugby team continues their road stretch this Saturday with a match against Bowling Green, before heading back home for their two final home matches. The Panthers haven't been playing their best rugby as of late, as they have dropped their two previous matches against Western Ontario and No. 6 Penn State. Kickoff against Bowling Green is set for 1 p.m.

Opponent: at Bowling Green
Time: 1 p.m.

Â
Scouting Bowling GreenThe Panthers are certainly familiar with the Bowling Green for they have faced each other six different times in school history, but have not seen the Falcons since the 7s Nationals Qualification Tournament in 2012. The series between the two schools is tied at 3-3 apiece. This will be Bowling Greens first game of their regular season.
Â
The Panthers 2-2 Davenport has had its fair share of ups and down this year as they started the season out with two convincing wins up in Canada, only to follow them with two hard-fought losses.
Â
The Panthers have been a well-balanced team this season, as
Brady Gent,
Knute O'Donnell, and
Onyeukwu Onwukanjo all lead the team with two tries. Gent leads the team in total points with 29. Davenport was unable to record a single try in last week's matchup against Penn State, as
Sondai Adjei's two penalty kicks were the only points accounted for in their 30-6 defeat.
Â
Davenport returns to the Turf Field on October 10 for their much anticipated Homecoming game against Arkansas State University.
