Daina Grazulis scored 18 points and
Linnea Brandholm added 15 as the No. 2 Davenport women's basketball team came up two points short from tying the Student Center record for fewest points allow in the Panthers 96-34 victory over Lourdes Wednesday afternoon.

Davenport (17-0) wraps up the first half of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference season 11-0 and begins the second portion at UM-Dearborn Saturday at 1 p.m.

Every member of the Panther each contributed to at least two points. Altogether they ended up shooting 54.1 percent from the field throughout the contest, the first time in four games DU has shot over the half century mark.

Lourdes (6-13, 2-9 WHAC) was held to 29.2 percent around the perimeter. Lauren Tilden led the effort for the Gray Wolves with eight points.

Davenport jumped up front 17-4 within the first five minutes of the contest. The Panthers entered intermission leading 48-15. It was the third time in as many games that the Panthers held their opponent under 20 points at the half.
