FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The women's soccer team competed against Indiana Tech Saturday evening in a conference road matchup with the 5-4-1 Warriors. The Panthers looked to capture their first conference win of the season as they compiled nine shots on goal led by
Nea-Stina Liljedahl as she recorded six.
The Warriors were able to tally the first goal of the game in the 26
th minute. This goal was the deciding factor for Indiana Tech as they handed the Panthers their sixth loss of the season. DU fought to get back in the game as
Tara Gessler recorded 10 saves to keep the Panthers alive. The Warriors were able to seal their victory just 39 seconds into the second half. This fast start to the second half was too much for the Panthers as the Warriors took the 2-0 decision and left the overall record for DU at 3-6-1 with a 0-4 mark in the WHAC.
