The Davenport men's Division I hockey team won for the third and fourth straight time this weekend with a sweep of Rochester College on Saturday and Sunday. The Panthers now stand at 13-2-0-1 overall and as the ninth-ranked team in ACHA D1 defeated the No. 23 Warriors in a pair of GLCHL contests. Davenport is now 6-1 in conference games.
On Saturday in Macomb, DU outshot RC 40-18 but narrowly held on for a 3-2 win.

Winston Hofer gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead at 5:27 of the first.
Cody Walsh got a power play tally at 7:39 of the first from
Kody Polin and Eckler.
The Warriors got the next two goals to make things interesting heading into the late stages of the third. Griffin Holt and Joey Giordano scored for Rochester College and set up a tense finish.
Alex Hulford scored his second game-winning goal of the season at 15:59 in the third from Hofer and
Alyx Fonseca.
Clayton Brown moved to 4-2 in net making 16 saves.
On Sunday at Patterson Ice Center it was a flurry in the third period by Davenport giving them a 4-1 win.
Cameron Dimmitt had a big night with the team's first two goals and also an assist on the third goal. Dimmitt scored unassisted at 1:56 of the first and that lasted until 24 seconds into the third when Dimmitt lit the lamp again from
Tyler Ploeg. Polin gave DU a 3-0 lead at 2:39 of the third from Dimmitt and
Stephen Flood.
Everett Thompson scored his first goal of the season at 3:58 making it three goals in a span of 3:34. Dakota Olvin broke up the shutout on the power play at 12:25 of the third.
Davenport fired 41 shots on Zakk Olvin who made 37 saves for RC.
Matt Kaludis stopped 21-of-22 on the night and improved to 9-1 in net for DU. The team will now gear up for a trip to Adrian College on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
